Experience – Integrity – Leadership

Promises Made – Promises Delivered

I am honored to have served as Escondido’s Mayor for two terms in the 50 th district’s largest city.  The proudest days of my life were when I swore to defend the constitution as a new citizen 32 years ago, and as Mayor in 2010.

As Mayor, I have provided rock-solid leadership, delivered on my campaign promises, championed government reform and turned the city around financially and economically. My significant accomplishments focused on public safety, fiscal management, smaller, accountable and transparent government, created economic prosperity for our residents, businesses and families. Click Here to see some of my Accomplishments as Mayor of the 50th District largest City.
